Spotlight on a Unique Fibre Drum: The Abzalis® Model

Among the fibre drum range developed by Abzac, the Abzalis® model, manufactured in France and Germany (F-Press version), perfectly embodies the Group’s advanced technological expertise.

A Design Tailored for Complex Products and Press Plate Emptying

The Abzalis® drum is specifically engineered for packaging pasty or semi-liquid products—any viscous material that requires optimal extraction, such as adhesives, inks, paints…

Key Technical Features:

  • Smooth inner wall allowing the use of a pressing plate for full content discharge,
  • Dual opening system—top and bottom—thanks to two removable lids,

The result: 100% of the product can be recovered, with no residual loss left at the bottom of the drum.

  • Resistant to Thermal Variation

When the product is filled hot, it may solidify upon cooling. In such cases, industrial users reheat the kraft drum’s walls to liquefy the contents before using the pressing plate.

The Abzalis® kraft drum is highly resistant to these thermal changes—proof of its robust design and outstanding performance.

European Multi-Site Production for Reliable Supply

The Abzalis® model is manufactured at three of our four European kraft drum production sites, located in France and Germany.
This multi-site industrial footprint ensures production continuity and supply security, providing our customers with peace of mind—even in the event of a local disruption.
